Warm Breezes and Salty Kisses From The Sea

We've been having our fair share of winter this year down in Florida, but it's still nothing like many of you are dealing with! Yes, we had snow in the palm trees, but it melted as soon as the sun came up. It seems like the perfect time to head to the beach and forget about all the snow piled up outside.

During this Imaginary Visit To the Beach, we'll be focusing on boardwalks, found treasures, colorful structures as well as the waves and water views found only at the beach.

The Tour Is Filling UP!

Just a heads up that the Paris Travel and Art Workshop is about three-fourths full. If this is something that you're thinking is the right fit for you, I hope you'll go ahead and sign up as I really don't want anyone to miss this trip!

I have begun reading books on Paris as well as watching a series, BBC - Paris: An Insider's Guide, over on YouTube, hosted by Sandrine Viollet and the BBC. More here. It explores Paris far beyond the usual tourist visit.

And finally, I have began my sketchbook pages! I am a strong believer in maximizing the anticipation of a trip and the best way I know how to do this is to start journaling about what I'm learning about Paris NOW!

It helps to move me past the "white page paralysis" that can set in with a new sketchbook and it helps me to keep my sketching skills sharp.

I would love to share the experiences of exploration and discovery of this beautiful city via our sketchbooks with you!

'Tis The Season - An Online Holiday Class has turned out to be a lot of fun with a lot of sharing going on in the dedicated Facebook group! We've painted festive poinsettias and a snowman surrounded by lots of snowflakes, big and small.

On the first Wednesday of the month, you'll have a class available to you which includes an art element as well as a lettering element along with other goodies!

If you don't have time to do the class right away, that's okay because you'll have a minimum of a year with the class materials! There's also three class options to check out depending on your learning style and interest. Come and check it out here!
